Tested to the very latest standardsSCH units are tested to ISO 5801:1997 (airside performance) and to BS 848 Pt 2:1985 (sound performance) meaning accurate, up to date information on performance and noise data that can be relied upon.
PerformanceAll SCH are powered by an external rotor motor.
Impeller designAerodynamically designed backward curved centrifugal impellers in either steel or aluminium dependant upon impeller selection.
Material strengthThe all metal cowls have a robust, long lasting construction, manufactured from galvanised steel.
MountingCan be mounted at angles up to 30° which means the fans can be fitted directly to pitched roofs.
ReliabilityMotors have sealed for life bearings.
CasingThe all metal fan casing provides a long lasting and robust construction. The casings are manufactured from pregalvanised sheet steel. The wind band shall incorporate quick-release toggle clamps to provide easy access for cleaning and maintenance. All SCH units can be mounted at angles up to 30°.
MotorsMotors shall be external rotor motor, with sealed for life ball bearings. Motors shall be minimum IP44 protected and minimum Class B insulation. All units are suitable for operating temperatures up to +50°C.
ImpellersAerodynamically designed backward curved centrifugal impellers constructed in aluminium or galvanised sheet steel. Impellers are balanced to ISO 14694 Grade G6.3.
